From Salt to Sea

Join us for a two-week Spring Quest (25 May – 8 June) through the Italian Apennines towards the Ligurian sea.

On Week 1 (25 May- 1 June) we’ll embark on the adventurous Trek Via del Sale (Salt Route), starting in the medieval town of Bobbio and ending in the blue coast of Liguria, where the Sea awaits.

On Week 2 (1-8 June) we’ll enjoy the sea and the numerous hikes of Via del Mare (Sea Route) in Portofino Natural Park.

It is possible to join only one week, either the first week (the Trek), or the second week (the Sea), but we recommend to join both weeks to fully experience our Spring Quest.

We have meticulously designed our 2 weeks agenda to balance focused work with exploration.

WHO is this for?

Our Spring Nomad Quest is not designed for travellers seeking only hiking and sport. It is a curated itinerary tailored for digital nomads, remote professionals, entrepreneurs, artists and anyone who enjoys slow travels and community experiences. Our scope is to reconcile physical activity, such as hiking, with the discovering of a new region and moments to work, create, and stay highly productive.

Can I join if I am not a Digital Nomad?

If you are not a digital nomad, nor a professional working from remote, you can still join and explore on your own while the others are coworking. It is a slow travel lifestyle that enables everyone to explore at their own pace. Most important is the wish to join a community lifestyle.

WHERE shall we sleep?

During Week 1, Via del Sale (25 May – 1 June) we will sleep in different accomodations, family hotels and selected Airbnbs. During Via del Mare (1 June – 8 June) we will sleep in a large Villa, 15 min. walk from the beach of Camogli. Most of our rooms are shared between 2 guests, please book asap if you wish a single room for single or double use. Bathrooms will be always shared.

WHERE shall we go?

In order to join La Via del Sale, you need to arrive in Bobbio (Piacenza) on 25 May (train and public transport). From Bobbio we will cross the Apennines on foot and reach the majestic sea of Liguria on June 1st. After the trek, it is possible to go home or spend another full week in the colourful village of Camogli from (1 to 8 June). If you can’t participate in the trek but would only love a chill week by the sea, it is possible to arrive in Camogli on June 1 and book with us our second week.

HOW LONG it will be?

Our Programme is composed of 2 weeks. In first week (25 May-1 June) we will start by visiting Bobbio (a medieval Borgo with many historical monuments) and use this time to so some coworking and social gatherings. On Thursday 29 May we will start a 4 days trek from Bobbio to the Ligurian Sea, that we will reach on Sunday June 1. The second week (June 1 – June 8) we will be based by the sea (in Camogli) and we will cowork and hike all through the Ligurian coast and its magnificent natural parks.
